SUGYP-IMPORT G.PORCHET set up in 1967, started its pyrotechnic activity four years later. Over time, it became one of the leading fireworks companies in western part of Switzerland. In 2007 a new entity was set up, that is SUGYP SA, directed by two brothers, Jean-Pascal and Nicolas Guinand. Supported by around 100 pyrotechnicians, the company continues to grow, never stopping to implement pyrotechnical novelties. Each year SYGUP gives over 150 fireworks shows in French-speaking communes in Switzerland to honour the 1st August National Holiday Celebrations.
